Mark Glick is founder, Chairman and CEO of GANA INC., a firm specializing in strategic planning and business systems integration for clean energy and transportation projects. Since 1987, Mark has been dedicated to establishing natural gas, hybrid-electric, fuel cell, and other alternative fuel transportation, including pioneering efforts in the marine environment. Under his leadership, GANA has secured contracts and grants from the US Department of Energy, the Gas Research Institute, Keyspan Energy Delivery, Pacific Gas & Electric and the New York City Department of Transportation for clean fuel projects in Boston, San Francisco and New York City. Mark also advised the Federal District of Mexico in developing a price of LNG and CNG for retail fuel vehicle sales and was leader of the project team that built and delivered the world's three largest containerized CNG fueling stations to Bangladesh. Mark was instrumental in bringing together UHI and Keyspan Energy Delivery New England to develop an implementation plan for a $10 million natural gas ferry initiative in Boston Harbor. In 1999, GANA helped gain passage of California SB-428 creating the San Francisco Bay Water Transit Authority. Mark's career also includes community development such as his efforts to lead a $780,000 fundraising campaign for the nonprofit Hawaii's Volcano Circus to build and operate a Performance Arts Educational Center for children. He is particularly skilled at grant-writing, project management, strategic planning, communications, and alliance building. Mark has a Master of Sciences degree in Public Management and Policy from Carnegie-Mellon University and a BA in Mathematics from Lamar University. Professional Affiliations:
